What is Bonding?

Dental Bonding is when a Dentist fuses or "bonds" materials directly to your tooth to improve, enhance, or correct the color and shape.  The natural tooth is then fused together with bonding materials, such as resin or porcelain to result in a strong material that feels and looks just like the original tooth!

 

When is Bonding Used?

Bonding is used in many cases especially Cosmetic Dentistry when dealing with chipped or irregular shaped teeth! This is because the bonded material looks and feels the same as natural teeth while doing a great job of matching the surrounding color.
